Hey there Glen Summit Spring Water fans, and welcome to our newest feature: Fun Fact Friday!  Every Friday, we will write a different fact about water, and tell you a little about it.

Join us today, as we give you an fun fact about the limitations of hydration!

Hydrating properly is good for you—plain and simple.  But, there are times where you can drink too much and lead your body to a state of water intoxication: where the sodium levels in your body are thrown off balance by the sheer amount of water that you are taking in, which affects the brain.  However, to prevent this, your body has built in a handy fail-safe: a limit to the amount you can drink.

As science shows us right now, a person in good health can only consume 3 gallons of water today.  Now, when the daily recommended amount is only 8 glasses (about half a gallon) that sure seems like a lit of water to take in!  While we do not recommend trying to exceed this limit, we do encourage you to at least drink your fair share throughout the day, and we can promise you that your body will thank you for it.

The activation energy to do so may be hard to muster, but you can start with one quick call to us.  In no time, we can run you over a case of our fresh spring water, and send you right on your way to hydration station.

Have a great weekend!
