It is a fact that not all bottled waters are created equal and our products here at Glen Summit Spring Water are no different. In fact, some bottling companies are bold enough to pass off reconstituted tap water as “pure” bottled water. Pure, we can attest, is a trite and overused term in our line of work.
Because of the myths and rumors out there, we feel obligated to share just a little bit of our company history and what truly sets our water apart.
- Our water has been sourced from the same springs in Glen Summit, Pennsylvania (a historically-significant community in the northeast portion of the state) since 1884. That’s more than 130 years!
- Unless the water is labeled spring or mineral, it will be sourced from a municipal water supply like tap water.
- Water labeled natural spring or mineral water MUST receive an official designation.
- It is earned through testing that proves it’s naturally free of toxic elements and conforms to the requirements of the designation.
- It is comprehensively regulated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as a packaged food product.
- With Glen Summit Spring Water you can rely on its consistent record of safety and quality.
When we say “spring” we stand behind our claim, because, it’s not a claim, it’s just the truth. With many, much larger companies out there selling “pure” bottled water to the public, did you know that it’s been reported that at least 25% are just bottling tap water – some without any filtration process at all.
Truly, not all water is created equal. Especially when we’ve been tapping the same spring and bottling it for well more then a century-and-a-quarter.
Welcome to Glen Summit Spring Water. We’re glad that you’re here.
