When it comes to water, many people claim that they do not like to drink it because of its taste.  While many people cannot accurately describe what the taste of water is like, they all circle back to one buzz word—bland.  Yes, water can be bland, but it doesn’t have to be.  With a little creativity, you can easily turn that “bland” water into a wonderful creation.  Read on to find out more about our favorite types of infused water!

Citrus Mint

Citrus fruits are wonderful for you, as they contain several types of antioxidants and are a wonderful source of vitamin C.  They can also give your daily water a little kick when you need it the most.  Throw in a slice of grapefruit (or any other type of citrus fruit that you fancy) and let it steep for about an hour.  For an extra measure, you can throw in a little bit of mint to give your water and very light and crisp taste.

Blueberry Orange

Sure, this one may seem a little odd at first glance, but this pairing makes for a fantastic infused water.  Throw in a few slices of orange with a few blueberries, and let it sit for an hour.  In no time, you will have a very light, refreshing, and savory drink that has immense health benefits.  This combo is proof that you can have something sweet while keeping healthy!

Apple Pie

Wait, what?  Did we say apple pie?  Believe it or not, with a few clever tricks, you can make an infused water that tastes just like an apple pie.  All you need are a few apple slices, a pinch of cinnamon, and a very slight hint of nutmeg.  Throw all of these into a pitcher, let it steep, and in no time you will have a delicious beverage that rivals an actual pie, but with all the benefits of drinking water.

Water, by itself, may be a little boring, but who says that it has to stay that way?  With a little creativity, you can turn that plain old water into something you and the kids will want to keep coming back too!
